Yours is the 8th studio album by Beatsteaks, released on September 1st 2017. For the album, the band recorded around 50-60 songs, working on the album for around 1 and a half years. The album features many artists, including Chad Price, lead singer of Peter Baumann's favourite band "All", and Farin Urlaub, vocalist/guitarist of the band Die Ärzte, with which Beatsteaks planned to colaborate with for a while. Due to the various producers, the band sees the album more as a mixtape, as every song sounds different from eachother. The song Gap was originally a very early song the band never got to finish, taking the oportunity to polish and add it to Yours. Another song with origins from earlier Beatsteaks eras, Velosolex's melody comes from the Limbo Messiah sessions.
On May 26th 2017 the band released a quadruple single featuring I do, 40 degrees, Sucker Punch and Hate to Love.
